Brink: day 2

So, the adventure continues as Ben and I conquer the challenge mode in Brink. We are happy to see that Bill Chen is going to buy the game from me and we can play together as a team against all sorts of obstacles. Bill Chen has always been a very random and awkwardly cute boy. He is very funny, but sometimes he gets annoyed at people, especially ones he isn't close to, who leave stuffs in his dorm or ruin a game record of his. I actually brought him up in his skills as a player. He had trouble when he started out in TF2 (Team Fortress 2) because this game had a game-play style that didn't really fit people who played games for the first time. Since he is pretty good and a universal FPS player now, I decided to move him into Brink and soon into Battlefield 3 when it comes out this fall. I think Brink is a game that can really build Bill's imagination, because everyone's mind is only in Call of Duty and not really any other games. I think this world is focusing too much on CoD as an example of the FPS world, of course, experienced and up-to-date people like Ben, Tony, and I see it as a pretty bad game comparing to ones that are not so mainstreamed. I am glad that BFBC2 (Battlefield: Bad Company 2) came out because the realistic and patient game-play was brought to people and I am glad that it became a popular game. I hope that people could really leave their Call of Duty Rambo killing type of game-play behind them because games are changing now and soon multi-players won't be as fun. And as always, goodnight!
